    2. "Power can be taken away someday, but as long as one is not afraid, his courage won't disappear." You make a very good point. I like that.

  3. 1. I've learned that sometimes run the risks to do something may have a better result. If Andy said nothing he would get neither the beer nor other prisoners friendships.Although it was dangerous to spoke to the guard like that,he undoubtedly have a better ending.

2.I admire Andy's courage, but the scene shows that the stronger one is Byron. The truth is cruel,at the moment on the roof,Byron could kill Andy easily, but Andy couldn't,that clearly shows who's stronger, sometimes, being courage at the wrong time may be stupid.

  5. 1.This scene tells me that Andy is different from all the other prisoners. Maybe it is because he is actually innocent, or maybe it is because he ponders things in different ways. All in all, I think he will become the hope of the other prisoners.

2.If you means "someone who only have power or courage", then I think neither of them is actually strong. The former don't have the courage to do the right thing, and the latter don't have the power to achieve those things.

    3. In my opinion, people who have power AND courage will become great leaders. People who have courage but have no power can be heroes. People who have power but have no courage are politicians.
